I can’t think of a better place to start a stay in Bangkok. Friendly staff, comfy beds and rooms with AC, lots of useful information for travelers, and other friendly guests to make friends with like at any good hostel. Great focus on sustainability here too, and thoughtful touches like allowing you to sleep in the living room or have a shower before you check in if you get there early like we did. Was sad to leave but hope to come back someday!
Everything!!! Absolutely amazing hostel! The best I’ve been to, clean and comfortable! The showers are toilets are really exceptionally clean. Nice vibe, the communal area is very nice and chilled the family room has Aircon so if you want to be out the heat you can go chill in there. They’re 3 little food places just out front, I went for breakfast every day. Definitely would come here again!
Me and my husband recently stayed at the Yards new and improved Private rooms w/ private shower and bathroom. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. this was my second time within 3 years and the atmosphere of the place hasn't changed. The experience the Yard Hostel gives is above and beyond your regular hotel/hostel experience. Its sustainability ideals (reusable water bottle is handed upon arrival for ex) green communal Yard in the middle, just makes everything feel right in this crazy city of Bangkok. You don't need to be in your 20s to go to a Hostel, especially not this hidden Gem.
This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and quiet, and the free breakfast is quaint and nice. My favorite part is the help coordinating events throughout Bangkok and around the country. They have a small book of suggestions. Overall, this hostel is a fabulous contrast to the busyness of Bangkok.
